About Gypsy

About Gypsy
Hey, I’m Gypsy.
Designer. Experimenter. Creator of useful shit.
I’m Kimberly Gypsy LoSavio, the one-woman show behind Gypsy Alchemy. I design things, try things, figure things out, and share what I learn along the way.
This is where I bring together practical tools, creative projects, useful discoveries, and whatever interesting idea has wandered into my orbit. Some things are planned. Some begin with a “what if?” and a suspicious number of open tabs.
Take what’s useful. Leave what isn’t. Then make something your own.
The Backstory
My Story
I didn’t arrive here in a straight line.
Life changed through betrayal, grief, and raising an Autistic son. It made me question what I believed about safety, identity, and the scripts I’d been trying to follow.
I started noticing how much of my life had been shaped by expectations that never really fit. I learned to question those rules, set boundaries, and make room for the person I wanted to be.
The name Gypsy has been part of that reclamation for me—a name I chose on my own terms, long before life threw the plot twists. Gypsy Alchemy is another piece of building a life and creative space that feel like mine.

What You’ll Find Here
Useful ideas, with room to make them your own.
I’m a longtime blogger and a self-taught web and graphic designer. I love finding tools that make creative work easier, learning by doing, and passing along the parts that might help someone else.
Around here, I share practical tips, resources, creative experiments, personal perspectives, and a little everyday magic. I’ll tell you what I’ve tried and what I think. You get to decide what fits your life, your work, and your ideas.
No magic button. No promise that a template will do the work for you. Just useful information, honest opinions, and possibilities to explore.
I’m a coffee-fueled creative with a messy ponytail, usually reading something or making a list I may or may not follow. I love Paris, spicy romance novels, Canva, and a good planner. I’m also Momma to an Autistic teenager and a lifelong learner.
What I Know for Sure
- You are not “too much” for wanting a life that fits. You don’t have to shrink your ideas, needs, or personality to make other people comfortable.
- Growth doesn’t mean becoming quieter or more polished. It means getting to know yourself, honoring what matters, and choosing what comes next with more intention.
- You can trust your intuition and make a practical plan. A little magic is lovely; a next step you can actually take is pretty useful too.
- Boundaries make room for the things you care about. They help protect your time, energy, creativity, and the people and projects you want to show up for.
- Your past is part of your story, but it doesn’t get to write every next chapter. You can learn from where you’ve been and still make something new from here.
